the goal

Celebrating tradition

The Marzadro Distillery, an Italian artisanal excellence with national and international distribution, entrusted us to create a high-impact TV spot for their prestigious Stravecchia Diciotto Lune grappa.

The goal was to celebrate the artisan quality and centuries-old traditions, while also presenting the distillery’s youthful vision. This aimed to appeal to both connoisseurs and young enthusiasts of grappa, enhancing brand recognition.

the challenge

Overcoming preconceptions

Grappa often carries a perception of being old-fashioned and contemplative. Our primary challenge was to communicate the product’s excellence and the company’s passion in a short format that would resonate with a new audience.

Technically, achieving dynamic camera movements that immerse viewers in the scene, particularly close to the table and glasses, posed a significant challenge.

the result

Blending the old with the new

We crafted a visual narrative intertwining the traditional distillation process with modern mixology consumption of grappa. Advanced filming techniques enabled seamless transitions between these two worlds through a 180° camera movement.

The narration highlighted the distillery’s history and deep-rooted passion for grappa, complemented by emotive background music, resulting in a captivating video that resonated with viewers.
